As a member of the North Shore Healthcare family, our center’s dedicated healthcare professionals strive to deliver quality care to those who have chosen us. Mercy Health Services’ goal is to create an environment that affords our residents the opportunity to be a partner in the care they receive, to develop trusting relationships with our caregivers, and to reach their highest level of independence. We are passionate about making our center The Right Choice for you or your loved one.
Mercy Health Services was established in 1984 and is nestled in the Burnham Heights neighborhood conveniently located near Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Ascension St. Francis Hospital, Milwaukee VA Medical Center, Aurora West Allis Medical Center, and Ascension Columbia St Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Mercy’s small size helps distinguish itself from other skilled nursing facilities in the area. With our small size, we can develop strong relationships with our residents and their families. We are also proud to be on the U.S. News & World Report Best Nursing Home list for 2018.
We recently were awarded a 2019 Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). The Award Program has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. As a recipient of the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award, we may now move forward in developing approaches and achieving performance levels that meet the Silver – Achievement in Quality Award criteria.
“When Karen is my aide, she stops and tells me she will be taking care of me and is everything alright. She notifies me if there is a change in her timetable, and she knows my likes and dislikes and we adjust. My day with her assisting me is a pleasure and makes my stay here easier.”
“I would like to recognize the entire staff at Mercy Rehab on 27th & Mitchell. This staff has shown me and my family there is a place to go where the staff is outstanding in the care for the patient and their entire family. They go above and beyond their jobs when it comes to the care of their patients and family in every aspect. I cannot thank them enough.”
“When I first came here I couldn’t even lift my feet. After receiving physical and occupational therapy, I am now on my way home walking! I received very good care here from the staff and volunteers.”
